NEW TOURING SEAT FROM MUSTANG
“Discover the difference that comfort makes with Mustang’s new touring seat for the Honda VT750C2 Shadow Spirit,” explained Marketing Director Marilyn Simmons. She told us the seat offers several improvements over the stock seat, with a full 16 inch wide, deeply pocketed front bucket that “sits the driver at the ideal angle to keep him from sliding forward.” The entire 11 inch width of the passenger seat is reportedly supported by the company’s unique internal steel support wings that hold up the full width of the foam. “Built on a marine-grade fiberglass
baseplate, the two piece seat mounts just like stock [seats],” said Simmons, who added, “The front seat can be ridden as a solo for occasional one-up riding.”

NEW FULMER RX2 AND JX2 HELMETS
Fulmer Helmets announced the release of its newest offroad helmets, the AF RX2 and AF JX2. Account Executive Josh Roberts told us, “Both were designed from the ground up to utilize the latest technology to emphasize airflow management and venting.” The organic design is said to feature aerodynamic shapes that move large volumes of air through the helmet. “Fulmer developed the JX2 to provide youths the same venting and airflow management benefits as the RX2,” explained Roberts, who added, “This gives younger riders the option to use equipment identical to their parents, older siblings and other offroad heroes.” The RX2 provides six adult sizes, while the JX2 offers three youth sizes, he said.

BARNETT BILLET CLUTCH BASKET
“Barnett’s new clutch basket for the Honda CRF150R is CNC machined from aerospace quality billet aluminum and features stainless steel inserts to prevent severe ‘grooving’ of the basket where the clutch plate tabs make contact,” said spokesperson Chris Taylor. The oil passage windows are also machined into the basket for increased oil flow to the clutch plates, which results in cooler operating temperatures and a longer clutch life, he added. Grade 8 quality fasteners and a backing plate are said to be included.
