WPS Review

Late summer is always the right time of year for an annual sales meeting and awards banquet, at least for Western Power Sports. A gathering of a few dozen vendors, a hundred or so sales reps, management and some families, mixed with some product education, some fun and rewards for a job well done … that, my friends is the recipe for what a sales meeting should be. The face-to-face is invaluable to the reps that will be bringing all-new stuff to your store. The awards are meaningful to those that worked so hard to earn them and the opportunity to do it all together is priceless.

I took the time to have lunch with one of the inside sales staff, thinking it was an opportunity to get the “inside scoop,” the real story from within. I was looking to uncover a little dirt, maybe some gossip about who is and who isn’t pulling their weight. No dirt on this bunch, however. The only soiled laundry to be found around this group is on the dirt bikes and ATVs they ride.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I’ve included as many here as space will allow.

Pictured from L to R:Ray Hudson, Bobby Stumbo, Craig Shoemaker and Alex Fuentes. The reps in the photo were getting the awards for Outstanding Service to the dealers. They were picked because they go the extra mile for their dealers, whether it be doing open houses, keep their inventory looking neat, taking care of issues, sales training, whatever it takes to make sure that their dealers are well taken care of.
